MOSCOW, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- Moscow has been and will remain a reliable energy supplier, it is ready to work with the E.U. to avoid leaps in prices for energy sources, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in an interview to BBC broadcast on Tuesday.
“We have been and we will remain the most reliable and safe supplier of natural resources. We are inviting all our colleagues in Europe, including our neighbors, to accept the simple fact that we value energy security of the continent and we want to cooperate with them, with the E.U., in order to prevent the price jumps that we see,” he said.
Moscow rejects shameless accusations of the U.S. that it uses supplies of natural gas as an instrument of pressure. It has never exerted any kind of pressure through the energy supplies. Statements like these are part of the information war that the West is waging against Russia in many directions.
“We will always be accused of everything, we know that, but Moscow is working consistently on stabilization of the (energy) market, it is not in our interests to rock the boat,” Ryabkov said.
